Midland is my home. I love this city; the people, community, everything about it! I grew up originally in a small central Texas town called Morgan, with a population of only 435. That is where the values I live by were instilled by my family. I have always said, a city is like a big business. Therefore, we need to run it as one. Being fiscally responsible is our duty to Midland taxpayers. Each citizen is a stockholder for the city of Midland, and they entrust us to use their dollars wisely and I fully intend to do so when elected to City Council.

Rance on the Issues:

Fiscally Responsible

Midland leadership must continue to prosper and grow, but must do so within our means and without raising taxes. As a businessman, I understand how to deliver results, but do so within the constrains of a budget. I plan to use these skills when it comes to keeping Midland great, without breaking the bank.

Improving Our Infrastructure

Our City’s future is dependent on having the infrastructure to support industry and maintain the quality of life of our residents. Infrastructure funding and maintenance will be a top priority if I am elected.

Keeping Taxes Low

We all feel the pain of taxes. As your Councilman, I plan to do everything in my power to reduce the tax burden on Midlanders and fight tooth and nail to deliver quality city services without raising taxes on the hard working people of this amazing city.
